“四川造”全球首颗6G试验卫星“电子科技大学号”在太原卫星发射中心成功发射

11月6日,“四川造”全球首颗6G试验卫星“电子科技大学号”在太原卫星发射中心成功发射升空并顺利进入预定轨道!标志着我国航天领域探索太赫兹空间通信技术有了突破性进展。这颗卫星重达70公斤,由川企国星宇航与电子科技大学等单位联合研制,据了解,区别于5G,6G要构建出一张实现空、天、地、海一体化通信的网络。

据校方介绍,“电子科技大学号”卫星由电子科技大学、国星宇航等联合研制,将开展太赫兹通信在空间应用场景下的全球首次技术验证。太赫兹通信是6G的关键技术之一。
